The Adelaide & Meath Hospital, Dublin, Incorporating the National Children's Hospital at Tallaght, represents the greatest single investment ever made by the Irish State in healthcare. Three legendary caring institutions were brought together in 1998 on a greenfield site at the foot of the Dublin mountains to provide the most advanced standard of hospital service in a positive and nurturing environment.

The Hospital has approximateley 600 beds in a remarkably well-designed building. The use of cutting-edge technology and the most modern educational resources offers the maximum opportunities for specialisation and career advancement for ambitious nursing staff. The Hospital is set in a 30-acre campus with a purpose-built University Clinical Sciences Building and a newly-designed Education Centre with Library. The Hospital has a unique range of services which can cater for the skills and interests of our student nurses: it is the only adult acute Hospital with paediatric nursing on campus, for example, and students will be encouraged to benefit from the most-comprehensive Hospital campus in Ireland.
